Data Collection Notice
What personal information we collect, why we need it, how we protect it, and the privacy rights available to California residents.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
What This Notice Covers
Level Up Consulting Group ("we," "us") provides this Data Collection Notice to explain in plain language what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
It applies to information collected through level-upcg.com, our consultation and contact forms, phone and text conversations, email, and the client portal we use to deliver credit repair and credit building services. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
Information You Give Us
Most of what we hold is information you provide directly so we can evaluate your credit profile and provide the service you asked for:
- Contact details — first and last name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Service details — the county you live in, the plan or service you are interested in, and any message or notes you send us.
- Identity and credit information — such as date of birth, Social Security number, and government-issued identification, collected only where needed to obtain your credit reports, verify your identity, or submit disputes on your behalf with your authorization.
- Financial background — income, employment, and account or debt information you share during onboarding or consultations.
- Documents you send us — identification, statements, credit report pages, or correspondence with creditors and bureaus.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers automatically record standard technical information:
- Pages you view, the site you arrived from, and how long you spend on each page.
- IP address, device type, operating system, browser, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies that keep the site working and help us measure what visitors find useful. We use Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement and an embedded Google reviews widget served by a third party, both of which may set their own cookies.
Information From Other Sources
With your written authorization, we obtain your credit reports and scores from the consumer reporting agencies. We may also receive information from identity verification services, from creditors or lenders involved in a dispute or application you have asked us to assist with, and from public records where relevant to your file.
Why We Collect It
- To respond to your inquiry and provide a free credit analysis or consultation.
- To pull, review, and analyze your credit reports and prepare dispute or correction correspondence on your behalf.
- To build and manage your service plan, track progress, and communicate with you about your file.
- To verify your identity and protect against fraud, and to meet the recordkeeping and disclosure obligations that apply to credit services organizations in California.
- To send service announcements and, where you have consented, occasional credit tips, updates, and offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Sensitive Information
Your Social Security number, identification documents, and credit report contents are sensitive. We use them only to deliver the services you requested, to verify your identity, and to satisfy legal requirements. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell them.
Who We Share It With
We share personal information only as needed to run your service and as the law allows:
- Service providers under contract — dispute processing and mailing vendors, secure hosting and document storage, email and communication tools, and analytics providers.
- Consumer reporting agencies, creditors, and lenders — when submitting disputes, requests for investigation, or applications you have authorized.
- Professional advisors and regulators — accountants, auditors, and legal counsel, and government authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
- A successor entity — if the business is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction under the same protections.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose your credit report information to anyone for a purpose unrelated to providing your service, except as the law requires or as you direct.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information for as long as your file is active and afterwards only as long as we need it to honor your choices, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements. When we no longer need it, we securely delete or de-identify it.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- To know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- To delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as records we must retain under credit services law or for an active dispute.
- To correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold.
- To opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share your information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of; we honor the request either way.
- To limit the use of sensitive personal information — by design, we use sensitive information only to provide your service.
- To opt out of marketing — reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or contact us directly.
- To not be discriminated against — we will not deny you service, charge you more, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Email us at support@level-upcg.com or call 925-255-7252 and tell us which right you would like to exercise. You may also write to the address below. We will confirm receipt, verify your identity using information already on file, and respond within 45 days — occasionally longer if your request is complex, in which case we will let you know. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission from you.
Cookies and Tracking Choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site display. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal; because there is no common industry standard for it, the site does not currently respond to it differently.
Children's Privacy
Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not direct the site to them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date below and, for material changes, notify clients as required by law. This notice is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice.
